UNIX-sama Vector Sketch

This is a vector sketch of UNIX-sama, the OS-tan representing the original Unix System I (or then referred to as "UNICS") created in the 1960's. She is the [unrecognized] daughter of MULTICS-sama, a very terrifying, powerful but also pragmatic sorceress, and the leader/mother/grandmother of all subsequent UNIX-tans. She is also in recent years a close friend to GNU/Linux-tan, even though they're mutual offspring don't share the same camaraderie.

....who has always expressed fascination with the veritable Mother of all Modern Operating Systems. The pose is actually based on a concept drawing that C-chan envisioned as his very first OS-tan drawing -- however, due to lack of skill, he opted to work with AmigaOS-tan first until such a day came that he could draw UNIX-sama properly.

That day never came of course, but and have all done a remarkable job of bringing UNIX-sama to life in many ways, including this one:

Regarding UNIX-sama's appearance, any similarities with Claes from Gunslinger Girl is purely intentional, since its an open secret that her design and part of her personality is based on that character. She is part owl, hence the owl ears on her head, and her eyes are ingrained with the Bell Labs logo. Her Unix Staff is the polished down remnants of Multics-sama's staff, and is supposed to be engraved with mnemonic markers intended to help her pupils memorize the UNIX Philosophy ("supposed to" because its actually a trick question, although few of her pupils have managed to realize this without getting whacked in the head with it first). ^__^'

She has not spent her entire life in a wheelchair, nor does she physically need one -- however, she has used one in modern years mainly due to psychology reasons, having been unable to stop her daughters' bloodshed [and by extension, the inevitable decline of her dynasty] during the UNIX wars.
