BACKGROUND ADDED!!! >v<
Getting very darn close, I would say this is easily at 90% completion. The wood grain on the bench and boards took a while, but the sea was surprisingly easy to create with some of the acrylic brushes.

Note that the background behind the bench had a last-minute change... instead of just water (which Haya liked but thought was visually confusing), I changed the setting to a tropical cliff overlooking the sea. I'm happier with this change not only because it makes the backdrop more defined, but it also gives me an excuse to add some interesting water details I've never tried before. ^^

Note also that everything was done in MyPaint, except for a last-minute Grain Merge Blend in GIMP to brighten up the lighting in the background.

The last piece of this work are the accessories for Kai and Cyllia (and Kana, who's not in this picture but is taking the shot). :)

Admittedly it came at the cost of a HUGE time expenditure (drawn a little bit a day over the course of a month), and there's still another 10% to go before this is formally finished. But glad you like it so far. ^___^b

lolol, Glei-chan is gonna have them for takeout. ^^;
hehe, like I mentioned in my PM, the image itself is still not finished, but at least this is as close to the final as you can get for a while. Thank you somuch for the praise! [and the nosebleeds, lol] :)
