Pinke Pie Pinata Accessories by C-quel Pinke Pie Pinata Accessories by C-quel
If you needed any proof that these piñatas aren't meant to be broken, feast your eyes on Pinkie's accessories!! Now really, who would make accessories for something that's meant to have a short lifespan? :)

In any event, here we have a WORKING Party Cannon (yes, it really does shoot confetti!!), in addition to four Hay Bacon Strips. If you're not sure what these are, you can refer to these youtube videos:

"Oh, I NEVER leave home without my PARTY CANNON!!"

"Hay Bacon Strips! Hay Bacon Strips! Hay Bacon Strips! Hay Bacon Strips!"

All Mane6 are gonna come with a set of canon and fanon accessories, with Twilight's in the works as we speak. :3

haha, well you know it IS a sales item, so it would be a little... counterproductive... to have instructions on how to make one. :D

But in fairness I am switching to a new piñata style for Bronycon, so I think I can talk a little about this large prototype. ^^

Your primary materials are gonna be tissue wrapping paper (cyan, purple, pink, white and yellow), cardboard, glue, duct tape and a reliable fastener for the hard-to-hold areas (like string or plastic fasterners). Also a plastic spring-loaded popper from your local party store. ^^

Using strong cardboard, make a long rectangle with one open end, and hold it together very well (using the fasterners and duct tape if needed. This will be the base for the entire thing.

Cut out a hole in the other end enough to fit the popper -- make sure it fits snugly and tightly before continuing.

Use more cardboard around the barrel to make the curve shape, and then create two octagonal shapes for the wheels. It would help to fill up these "wheels" with something heavy so the weight of the barrel doesn't tip over. Once your wheels are ready, attach these onto the barrel. The skeleton of your cannon is now ready. ^^

Go ahead and use the tissue paper to decorate your cannon nicely. Frilling piñatas is easy, but you have to know what you're making first -- got to your local party store and study the patterns of piñata frills. All you need to do a good job is the tissue paper, glue, a comfortable pair of scissors, and lots of patience (especially if this is your first time). ^^

Well I'll be selling at Bronycon if you'll be around there. :)

My new paper plushie line will definitely be a LOT cheaper, so a new petite party cannon could easily go for about $10. ^^

[I just have to design it first, lol] :P

Awwww.
But don't worry, my new paper plushie designs are also going to be VERY easy to ship too. Won't weigh a thing, so it'll be cheap too. :D
