A quick gift picture for and (yes, I FINALLY learned how to make avatar links!). This is actually a three-fold gift to:
A) Wish Takai-san a happy belated birthday. ^^
B) Provide Chibi-san with a quick SVG example, as promised. ^__~
C) Use as a hold-over for my REAL fanart intended for these two, which may not be around any time soon.
In any event, this picture can best be subtitled "What is that "Rolling Noise" Coming Out of my Cake", as an unaware Takai-san is about to get a pleasant little surprise (pun shamefully intended).
Only very little blurring was used in this picture, to avoid turning this into a CPU Crusher. This came at the cost of greater photrealism for the cake, but at least the current cake rendition offers a very different kind of example of how realistic objects can be created in Inkscape using just standard paths, strokes, randomized stars, and other assorted shortcuts.
When did it suddenly become cool to hate everything? It's a growing problem, especially in the entertainment world, and no one benefits from an increasingly hard to please, pessimistic audience.
