As much as I'd like to go all-out with Sun-Dried Cherries merchandise, I still have MLP board games to finish. The first one, a portable version of the "Changeling Challenge" game from our Bronycon booth is almost completed. ^.^
Unlike in the Bronycon game, I've actually been able to draw all the character art from scratch, using the characteristic chibi style I'm employing with SDC.
So it's with great pleasure that I'm able to preview Rainbow Dash, Applejack, Fluttershy and Rarity, ready and willing to take their positions in the custom box art of Changeling Challenge!
No need to ask where Pinkie and Twilight are, they actually get the best seat in the house (as I hope to show in the near future). ^^
haha well it wasn't how many could make a piece of AJ art 'better' it was simply trying to get more love from as many different wonderful artists as we could, not to mention it could of been great advertisement if a certain orange pony MAYBE ended up making a cameo in your chibi universe.
BUT I totally understand what you mean about big projects needing your attention with such a tight schedule! I am pretty interested in hearing about how you play a Changeling Challenge game. Is it like Guess Who? Sounds like a lot of fun!
Sorry to hear you can't make time for it, I personally would of loved to see your chibi's interacting in some way with AJ personally in the Drawfriend <3
Awww, well now I feel bad. XD Well why not just copy and paste the above chibi AJ into the Drawfriend? I mean the art is reusable after all. ^^
And at least for me it's doubly-important not to mix in outright elements of MLP into SDC. Trying to keep it as copyright-pure as possible. XD
And Changeling Challenge will actually be more of a mini archery set -- it's essentially an excuse to sell the mini Twilight Guns with bells and whistles. ^.^
Oh yes, the Twigun! It all makes sense now... Yes, I do recall that post. Good to hear it's coming along well.
Totally understandable, it would taint the whole thing with copyright issues I suppose. Don't feel bad xD You are a busy person ^^ Speaking off, back to hunting for a banner artist!
I a not~ D: I suck at fishing... Plus, your heart has to be in it or it ain't much of an appreciation day if there's no appreciative feelings behind it!
That's just how I flow, things are just nicer when there's heart put into it, least that's what I believe in.
I did however have someone offer to make one who heard about the banner issue, and they really like AJ <3 So I'll leave it up to them and hope for the best!
It may not make much business sense, but I never was a materialist. I'm more the Druidish nature loving type that cares more preservation and doesn't go for all the fancy glitter if something else does it just as nice. (I do love phones though, the more I can fit into it and manage my work on the better!)
Btw that last comic, I used to do that when I was 6 when our teacher gave us our first seeds to plant in the cups xD Those things grow so quickly! lol that was very cute ending xD
Oh well, all's well that ends well. It was a nice try, though, so 'A' for effort. ^^ You really should check out all my paper plushie art on EQD, though, that's where all my heart goes into since it's a family craft. XD
Oh, and you really should consider picking up vector drawing, especially in Inkscape which is a free and open source program compatible with just about everything (except, so far, mobile devices). It's relatively easy to craft pony art with it, and more so if you like assembling objects together (which is the basis behind vectoring).
And thank you, I do like to show off CC's cute side as well. Tomorrow you'll see her vengeful side though, but only for a small bit before she subsides back to her adorable self.
With that little chibi AJ? Naaaaah, there's about a billion brony artists who could sneeze out bigger and better things than that.
I only have till this weekend to complete my Changeling Challenge game, so I have to pour all my attention into that.
But thank you for the consideration, though. ^^

It will only be short-lived since I'm sending the prototype to Calpain, but I'll make more in time. ^^
And you are so fishing for a banner artist. >.>
