In honor of her ventures into new and exciting art mediums during 2009, I opted to draw this picture entirely in raster-based GIMP [the exception being the preconcept sketch which was still drawn in Inkscape, but since it was also done freehand it looks too dreadful to post).
Suffice to say, since it's been almost 6 years since I've used a raster-based program for 100% of an illustration, to say I'm "rusty" is an understatement.
Not saying whos who and what's what, since most of the fun of this drawing is making Bella & Co. answer that themselves.
This is, I daresay, even more adorable than your usual works...something is just a bit more click-prone within me when it comes to raster, I guess. -w-
Waaah! So that means all my years of doing vector artwork were in vain, cause Nejin-dono loves my crappy raster work.... ;^0^;
*bawls eyes out*
Well granted it has its fun and I was reminded of my adventurous Photoshopping days at first....
But sooner rather than later, I started seriously missing my Inkscape,... I just love doing my drawings Lego-style. I think now I know for sure that is my destiny.... ^_________^

[that, or maybe 3D graphics too...]
One thing is certain, however - one must not forget one's origins, for one day one will be forced to go back to the place where one started.
